Policies

Payment:

Payment in full is due at the time of service. Acceptable payment methods include: Cash, check, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Venmo. Checks returned NSF will incur a $35 fee and no further services will be provided until fee is paid.

Cancellations/No-Shows:

On the rare occasion Ruff & Ready Mobile Pet Spa is unable to provide service at the time of an appointment, due to illness, injury, or equipment failure, every effort will be made to contact you in advance to reschedule. Client cancellations within 24 hours of the grooming appointment are subject to a 50% fee. *No-Shows* If you are unavailable at the time of your appointment without contacting in advance to cancel or reschedule, you will be charged the FULL grooming fee. Please be sure to CALL or TEXT whenever possible to avoid such situations.

Matting:

If your dog has matting, please inform me while booking so adequate time may be scheduled for the appointment. Excessive matting/pelted coats will be shaved to lessen the stress and discomfort of the dog. Mat removal in excess of 10 minutes will be charged at $1/minute. Pelted coats will incur a minimum fee of $30. *PLEASE NOTE* Removal of mats may reveal redness, bruising, and/or sores from the tension the mats place on the skin.

Excessive Behavior:

Ruff & Ready Mobile Pet Spa reserves the right to stop work on any dog that poses a risk to itself or others.

Fleas & Ticks:

The presence of fleas will incur an automatic $15 fee for removal. Ticks will be referred to your veterinarian for removal and may prevent completion of groom.

Photos:

Photos and/or videos may be taken of your dog before, during, or after grooming for use on social media. Please advise if you would like to opt-out. (Images will never show your name, address, or phone number.)
